WeQuest is a gamified household task-sharing app designed for young adults living with roommates. The project addresses the common challenge of unfair chore distribution, which often leads to stress and conflict. This was solved by turning everyday tasks into shared missions, where users earn points, unlock badges, and contribute to a group progress bar, encouraging accountability and teamwork. The visual style is inspired by casual mobile games, using UI elements, friendly icons, and bright colours to create a low-pressure and engaging experience. These design choices help make task management feel approachable rather than overwhelming. WeQuest is used in everyday home settings through mobile devices, allowing roommates to check tasks, track progress, and collaborate in real time. By combining play with practicality, the app reframes chores as a positive shared experience.
